Position: Solar Design Engineer
Number of Posts: 1
Industry: Solar / Renewable Energy
Location: Thaketa Township, Yangon
Salary: 1,500,000 MMK to Negotiable

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design solar PV systems for residential, commercial and industrial projects
  • Prepare system layouts, Single Line Diagrams (SLD), electrical drawings and technical designs
  • Calculate system capacity and select panels, inverters, batteries, cables and protection devices
  • Conduct site surveys and analyze site conditions, loads and energy use
  • Prepare BOQ/BOM, technical specifications and cost estimates
  • Coordinate with Sales, Project, Installation and Service teams
  • Provide technical support during installation, testing and commissioning
  • Ensure designs meet electrical and safety standards

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 2 years in solar PV system design or related engineering preferred
  • Good knowledge of solar PV, inverter, battery/ESS and electrical systems
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
  • PVsyst, SketchUp, HelioScope or similar software is an advantage
  • Able to prepare SLD, BOQ/BOM, load calculations and drawings
  • Good problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills; able to do site visits

Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Off Days: 1 rotating day off per week
